For B1 Clarification

Hi,

Please help me out regarding my clarification. I am working some company in India.
Previously I went to USA through H1B visa and I stayed there nearly 3.6 year’s, at that time my H1B period is over and my employer applied for renewal of H1B. But due to family problem before getting new H1B, I went back to India. Now my new company applying for B1 visa. Whether they check the previous dates of H1B. For the B1 visa it is a problem? Please help me out the clarification.

you really should not have any problem in getting your B1 visa from India. If you maintained status while u were on H1B ie received a pay in accordance with the LCA, your B1 should go smooth provided u meet the necessary parameters for this buisness visit.
