  • Traveling on B1

    Hi,

I am an Indian Citizen (from Mumbai) working with Petroleum Company in Muscat for last 2 years; I am holding a Residence card. I got a job offer from Indian based company subsidiary of USA based company. My new employer wants me to attend the training course in USA for less than a week. All expenses will be born by my parent company.

    1. Which visa would be appropriate for me B1 or B2 or both?

    2. In which jurisdiction I will apply for NIV visa either in Muscat or
    Mumbai?

    3. I visited USA in year 2000 on NIV, I retuned back without voiding any
visa rules, after that in year 2005 and year 2006 my Non-immigrant visa
was refused under section 214(b), should I mention this thing in DS 156

    Kindly Advice.
