  • H1B after rejection of B1 twice

    Hi,
I applied B1 from another company in Dec07 and got rejected and again applied in a week and again rejected.
In Mar08 one US consutancy firm applied for H1b on my behalf and luckly i got my H1 and got the original papers from US,when can i go for visa stamping and whether it will be impacted by B1 rejection and the paper, which i have shown at the time of B1.

    You can ...

.. and should go for your passport "stamping" to get the visa as soon as you possibly can.

Yes, your previous rejections will surely be taken into consideration for which you need all the documentation and clear and concise explanation of your current application.

    Good luck.

Important thing to note is most B1 visas are rejected for potential immigrant reasons. H1b allows immigrant intent and that will not play a part.

All other reasons will definitely impact the outcome.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
