Entension H1 visa - waiting for response

    Entension H1 visa - waiting for response

    Hi,
    I have applied for My Mom's B1 visa extension,she has her visit visa for 10 years but her I-94 expires on Feb-27th 2009,We have not heard anything from USCIS yet,If we don't hear anything till next week then should she go back or can she wait,if she waits then will she go out of status?If she does not get an extension then will her visa become invalid if she stays and waits for the reply?
    Any suggestion???

    Visa is void if the extension gets denied.

      Well I want to know if we should wait for the reply or return back if we dont get the reply on time b4 the i-94 expires
