In my DS160 & invitation letter, the journey dates are from July 20 to 28.

My interview is on July 17. Will it be a problem as the dates are very close.

And my biometrics are already done, so cannot change.

Is it fine to mention they are tentative dates?

And also, the invitation letter is short with two sentences,

We are pleased to invite you to our US office for business meetings from July 20 to 28.
Let us know, the flight information and we will arrange for Hotel accommodation and shuttle to and from the airport.

Will the invitation letter suffice?

Tentative dates are fine, as long as this information is matching everywhere - i.e. your intended length of stay should still be 7 days.

Also, in your invitation letter, better to have agenda for those 7 days, like meeting this & that person etc. If that is not a fixed date program, then you should be good.

Depends on what is the purpose of your visit. Can you delay that?
