  • B1 visa

I have B1 visa. Third entrance to US, I have faced up with lots of questions from airport INS officers, they gave me hard time. End of the May, I have to travel South America, stay couple days and back to US again. But this time, I am not sure what will it be happen from INS. According to my I-94 form, I can stay 3 months but when I stay more than 2 months, INS officers don't like it and give me hard time. End of the May, I be stay more than 2 months and if I go to South America and try to come back to USA, this can be problem and I dont want leave company's tools in US. I came to US with lots of company's equipment and when i travel to South America, I will leave them in US...
My husband is going to get US Citizenship on May 20th and we have to travel to South America May 24th. We don't have time to apply my green card. I don't want to take illegal action.
What can we do? Thanks for any advice!

This doesn't answer my question. Totally different!

That answer applies to everyone who wants to stay for too long and make frequent trips to the U.S. on B1/B2 visa.

We took one example to illustrate the point.
