  • B1/B2 tourist visa in the USA

    Hey everyone,
I need a little advice from you all.

My wife and I got married in the USA about year and half ago. When we got married, he was on a tourist visa it was 6-month long.
I was a green card holder.
After we got married, we submitted the 130 Form as a petition for the spouse in the USA.
We both were in the USA at the time of submission.

I am about to become a US citizen but we have not yet heard about the approval of 130. it has been 1 year and 5 months.
What would be the next logical step if they approve it?

    Thank you

    Hi,
Just curious to know, When you filed I-130 petition, did you also file I-485? Please let me know, as per that, we will guide you.
    Thanks.

No, we do not file I-485 since I was a permanent resident at that time.
      Thank you
      What should I do?

Visitor visas are nonimmigrant visas for persons who want to enter the United States temporarily for business (visa category B-1), for tourism (visa category B-2), or for a combination of both purposes
