Can I apply for B1 Visa while H1B is under review (221 G)?

Hi,

I've been handed over 221 G White when I attended H1B visa interiew in Dec 2009. The case is still under review as of date. Now the company in which I'm working right now in India is planning to process my B1 Visa. Can I apply B1 Visa while H1B is under review 221 G? Please help me.

Yes, as long as you are planning to come to the U.S. for the purpose consistent with B1 visa.
