SSN on B1 ( H1 Approved)

HI,

I am in USA on business visa and my I-94 is valid till July. My H1B visa has been aproved and I have got the aproval notice here.

Please let me know without getting H1 visa stampped can I get the SSN ?

I don't think Visitors can get SSN.
Did your H1 get approved as change of status? Does the approval notice have an I-94 at the bottom? If yes, you can apply for SSN. But remember you must also start working for your H1 employer from the start date of that petition.
