H1B under admin process - travel in B1 possible?

i had attended the Visa interview for H1B (Prem Process) on feb 10 2011. But got a 221g blue form for client letter. Submitted the docs required it on feb 11 itself. But no updates as such till now...

My question is:
1. Can i travel on a B1 (Already present) while H1B under admin processing. ?
2. If i can travel, once i receive the approval from Consulate, would i be able to get the stamping done in US itself or do i need to return back?

Please do let me know if this can be done...
If i don travel right now, there is a possibility tat i ll lose my chance of travel..

2. Visa stamping can not be done in the U.S.
