Apply for Citizenship with disorderly conduct

i am applying for my US citizenship and have been legal resident since 1993 (Green card) . I was arrested in 1997 for petite larceny and my court disposition letter says it was reduced to disorderly conduct. This was my first and only offense and since then i have never been involved with the law. I am concerned,,, could I be denied citizenship because of this charge 18 years ago?

And do you think i need to have a lawyer present during my US citizenship interview ?

How old were you, though it doesn't matter? Just thinking children do stupid stuff and grow up. Though some adults are are none the less.
If I were you I would apply, it's either a yea or no. There's a great chance you will be approved. What's going good for you is, it's done many years ago and have been law abiding since.
