one spouse GC, one US citizen, going to India

hi everyone,
we are in a bit of confusion. my husband took the us citizenship. but i am still GC holder. previously we were thinking to stay few more years and we wanted to have options of having citizenships of both countries and take advanatge of relation of spouse in future immigration related matters. But now we are thinking to going back to india. in such case, it is tough to maintain the GC but now the issue is loosing the indian citizenship entirelyout of our family.

is anyone in similar situation? we want to know their thought process?
any suggestions appriciated.

please reply senior members , we are in hurry to go to india. and still confuse that should my wife apply for citizenship or she shouldn't? any advise will be helpful to make my mind.

Even if you become a USC too,both of you can still get PIO status from Indian embassy and do a lot of things in India as a PIO that you'd want to do as an Indian citizen.

What do you think will happen if you lose your Indian citizenship?

well if both of us loose indian citizenship . than we have to take OCI .
1. you can not take aggriculture land.
2. you cannot do govenment job.
3. if some benfits are available to our kids as an indian parent (at present or in the future), we are going to loose them.

but still the fact is, we are going back. so looks like its hard to maintain gc from there.
