Who should go with you to a Interview?

My mother will have her Naturalization interview soon. She applied as a Green Card holder married to an American. Does this mean my father has to go with her to the interview? I initially wanted to take him and myself but the new rules say only one immediate family member can enter the office along with the applicant.
