Do we need certified tax transcripts when filing online application (N400)

We are planning to file an online application for N400. Do we need the certified tax transcripts when filing the online application (N400) i.e. upload them? Or do we just need them when we go for interview? Any help appreciated, thanks!

You don’t have to have certified ones. I got mine from IRS website online. It’s all the same to them. Upload them with your application AND take them to interview.

I included mine into application and took them to my interview. The officer didn’t ask for them but it’s better to have them present in case he does
