Ship will drydock for 10 days in Florida, can i travel to another state to visit

My ship will go on drydock for 10days, iam on a C1/D visa. Can i travel to another state to visit friends while waiting for the maintenance work on my cruise ship to finish? Any reply will be highly appreciated....thanks

If you go through immigration, you can travel anywhere within the US as long as you leave when you say you will.
