Possible c1/d Visa Illegality by Employer Company False declaration letter

    Hi everyone
    Maybe someone can help! :-)
I ' ve a application to a c1/d US visa. I've received a copy of the letter, which propose is to send directly by the employer company, by mail Post, to USA embassy.
After known my ship name and the boarding day, I´ve track my ship route, and I've discovered, the ship will be not in the mentioned port at this date, in fact, this ship will be in navigation day, in different route at this time.
I' write a email to company asking if it is a mistake. And, until now, 8 days after sent my email, no answers, normally they are very quick responding 1-2 busy days.
This is possible according US laws?
This c1/d Visa can be a illegality? Which damages, sanctions, can be applied, due this Employer false declaration letter to the employer and to my self?
I have to be boarding in this specified ship in this specified date, or not?

Thank you in advanced for your time.
    Regards
