  • C1d visa interview questions

Please i need hints on interview questions for c1d visa application.
I also want to know if being self employed with a registered company will be an advantage to get a c1d visa.
I got a job with a cruise ship but due to the corona virus lockdown i haven't book for interview yet.

    Your candid advice pls. Thanks

A C1D visa is a United States visa issued to foreign nationals that are coming to the United States to perform specific business activities at a U.S. Port of Entry (POE). In order to obtain a C1D classification, you must be coming to the United States at the invitation of a U.S. based company, corporation, or government agency. Each case is considered individually by the Customs and Border Patrol Officer (CBPO) at the port of entry. If granted entry, C1D classification allows you to stay up to 30 days with an extension allowed for extra 30 days after submitting reasons for an extension with USCIS.

Think of it this way. These are your possible scenarios
        1. Go clean shaven and get accepted
        2. Go with beard and get accepted
        3. Go clean shaven and get rejected
        4. Go with beard and get rejected

The visa acceptance and rejection process is completely opaque, and basically subject to the whims of the stamping officers (in the consulate.) So assigning probabilities to all of this is pointless.

But, if you do end up in option 4, you will always wonder if it was your fault. Just shave, unless you have some giant attachment to your beard.
