I have a direct question about my case. Last year, I have participated in work and travel, My DS-2019 form was almost 4 months and the US embassy gave me 5 years J-1 visa, until 2018. And as you know it has the DS-2019 number and other information.

My question is if I want to participate in the same program again, and I got a new DS-2019 form, should I make a new visa appointment or I can travel using the old Visa and the new DS form.

I have a very similar situation. In march i applied for a J1 Visa for Work and Travel Program. I got a 5 year J1 visa...

I want to participate again next year and when I approached the employer with this question they said I need a DS2019 form to authorize me to work even though I have the J1 visa..

My question is if I got a new DS-2019 form, can I travel using the old Visa and the new DS form? Since the Visa has the number from the Old DS2019 form?

Could someone help me with this please?

What should I do and how do I get this sorted out?
