Hello all,
I have done 2 prelim years of General Surgery on ECFMG J1 visa status finished in 2018. I couldn't find a categorical spot so had to go to my home country for a year. I plan to do a Burn Fellowship for a year (2019-2020 )for which they require ECFMG sponsored J1 visa. My question is- Is there any way/alternative that ECFMG can sponsor visa for this fellowship and for next year once I get a residency spot in surgery or other specialty?
Has anyone experienced that?
