Hi,
I applied for J1 visa renewal at US consulate in Calgary, Canada on 03 Dec. I have been told by the counselor that my case needs 'additional administrative processing'. I work in the field of science and technology as a researcher for federal government agency but contracted through a university.
Can you please tell me what exactly this 'additional administrative processing' mean, and how long does it take for clearance?
