    Change of Status to J1

    Hi guys,

    I came to the US on a visitor visa and applied for a change of status to J1. Its now more than 4 months that I ahve applied but I have got no response yet. Anyone out there has any suggestion or same experience? Please let me know what I should do.

    Did you get a receipt? was the check cashed?

      Yes I got the form 797 and the cheked was chashed at that time.
