Hi Everyone,
I am an Indian, presently residing in the USA. Now I have the 2 years home residency requirement based on skillset and want to apply for the waiver based on no objection.
As I understand, I have to get no objection from the regional passport office. However, the Indian address mentioned in my current passport is not my actual home address, but it is my previous university hostel address in India. Now, that means if I send my application to the passport office corresponding to the university hostel address, there will be no one on my behalf during police verification in that address? What should I do? Also, it appears to me that I can not change my passport address to my home address in India either since I am currently residing in the USA; the new passport address will be USA address. Please suggest how to proceed?
