Hi everyone,
I am reaching end of my research contract in USA on a J1 visa and plan to stay for 2 further weeks before leaving the country. I learnt today that my current healthcare insurance will not be valid in the grace period once my employment ends this month. Does anyone knows if I can just buy some of the typical traveller insurances (the ones someone usually buys while travelling USA in B1/B2 visa) or are there special requirements for people with J1 visa and on grace period.
