J1-High rejection chance with sibling on GC?

I will be applying for J1 visa for residency in June. My brother has filed for GC and has got his labor approved few days back. He has not filed his I-140 as yet but he is planning to do so very shortly. Will this portray me as a potential immigrant during the visa interview?Will the consular officer be updated on his database about my bro's status? Is it safe to mention my bro's status at H1b in the DS 160.

Your brother does not yet have green card. Therefore, he is still on H1B visa.

Even if he had green card, that would not affect your J1 visa chances.
