J1 application when B1 is already rejected

Hi, I applied for a B1 US visa for internal business meetings of my company and appeared for the interview 3-4 months back but due to some reason counselate was not convinced and I got rejected u/s 214 (b) stating that I don't have intention to come back. Now I need to go to US for some training purposes. So if you can please help me to understand that how my earlier rejection can impact on my J1 visa chances then it would be really helpful. All the expenses will be sponsored by my company.

I don't want another rejections stamp on my passport therefore need to be very careful about it.

Depending what the exact reason was for previous rejection, it can have effect on your next interview result as well. It is hard to say for sure.
