K-1 and K

Hi everyone,

My fiance and my daughter came here about 6 to 7 months ago from Frankfurt, Germany on a K-1 and K-2 visa and I filed for their green card and work permit. The forms that I filed were the i765, i485, and i864 forms. I recently received a letter stating that my i130 petition petition was approved and sent to the NVC for further processing. I do not recall filing an i130 for my wife and daughter. I was wondering if i filed the correct forms and why I received an i130 approval form. I am afraid that my wife and children will sent back.

Assuming you married within 90 days of entry, you sent the correct forms (should be two I-485s, one for each of them). It sounds like a mistake if they sent you a notice for a form that you did not file.
