what are the three vaccination for ?

Hi,

I heard that one of the vaccinations that one take before the interview is a kind of birth control for three months, is that true ?

Immunizations keep you from getting disease. They will not prevent pregnancy.

• Tdap shot- tet****, diptheria, pertussis
• MMR shot- mumps, measles, rubella (should not be taken if pregnant and reccommended not good to get pregnant shortly after taking this shot because the rubella part could cause birth defects)
• Flu shot- Infuenza but only required during flu season Oct 1 to March 31

You may have heard that the Rubella is risky for pregnant women. It is safest not to get pregnant for a few months after the shot, but birth control is your responsibility and none of the shots keep you from getting pregnant.
