Hi,
what exact formalities with USCIS and Indian Embassy in US need to be completed after getting a divorce in US when on H1B status? The spouse has already converted to F1 status. Is there any formality that needs to be completed in India since the registered marriage was done in India? What additional insurance (apart from the divorce decree granted in US) can the H1B person have for the future that no loopholes exist and can be taken advantage of in a negative way by the X-spouse to cause trouble, in US or in India?
