Need to apply for H4, but has H1 approved already but not stamped.

I have got my H1 approved in August 2003. But it is not stamped yet. Now I'm applying for H4. Is there any rule that H1 approval should be cancelled before this. If so please let me know the procedure for this.

If H1 is not cancelled, will it create any problems for getting the H4 stamped?
