Hello,
Let me explain my H1 background before i go ahead with the question. Company X had filed for my H1 petition in the year 2010 and i had appeared for an interview. I was given a green slip 221g asking for additional documents. The company latter did provide all the documents to VFS and few months latter i got a rejection letter. This petition was revoked and i got a reaffirmed letter from USCIS. I reappeared for interview and again i was given a 211G asking for more docs. This is when i decided to withdraw my petition and asked my employer to do so. The petition was withdrawn and there is no stamping in my Passport.
This year my present company Y has applied for my H1B. I have my petition approved and i am filing my form D-160. There are couple of questions to which i am confused as to what the answers should be.
1 Has your U.S. Visa ever been cancelled or revoked?
2 Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry?
If i mention a YES pertaining to my case, will it hamper my chances of getting a visa this time. I just want to be extra careful with this. Request your responses soon as i would be taking my interview soon.Highly appreciate your help!!
