I am stuck on a question regarding DS160 form that I'm filling for my wife. I would really appreciate any help to fill it accurately.
1) My wife will be quitting her job this week but at time of interview in Dec she will be unemployed. There is a section on CURRENT WORK in the DS 160 form which has to possible options for her.
- Unemployed
- Homemaker
If we choose Unemployed it says give explanation. Is saying " Quit last join Oct2012" a good enough answer?
Or should she say Homemaker?
We obviously want to look for a job here for her but that should not be mentioned or expressed during the form or interview. So wondering what others in the same situation have entered without issues.
2) if the last date on her previous obis off by 4-5 days is it a big deal? Do they check the employment letter from her last employer?
Again really appreciate any help.
