H1 Visa Expired - Work permit exists until Apr 2013 - Going for Marriage

Greetings !

My case is as follows

a) Came to US in Jun 2010 to work for Company A on H1. I had my Visa stamped until Oct 2012. Worked with Employer A until Apr 2012.

b) Shifted to Employer B (H1 transfer in US) in Apr 2012 and got new I797 until Apr 2013. Working for Employee B since April 2012.

c) I have my marriage in Feb 2013 in India. As my Visa expired in Oct, I should go for Visa stamping in Feb when I go for my marriage.

d) I have all my Pay checks and W2 forms since Jun 2010 that I am in the US.

Request you to help me with the following questions that I have
a) Can I go for an interview with the current H1 Work Permit of Employer B (or) should I get it extended and take the extended work permit.
As my current work permit is only until Apr 2013, would there be any questions if I appear for an interview in Feb ?

b) Is it good to appear for an interview along with my wife or should I go separately ?

Technically using the current petition is fine, but if possible it is better to get it extended.
