H1 Approved, waiting for i797

My H1 visa was applied on 2nd June 2012, and I got approval on 8th Oct 2012.
Currently I'm in USA on H4 visa.
My employer hasn't yet received hard copy of my visa documents!
As per USCIS my documents have been sent to my employer!
Is anyone facing same situation? Where can i get more information about my H1 documents?

Two possibilities. Either your employer is lying or USCIS is not giving you right information.

I would suggest to call USCIS again and ask them when did they send and confirm the address.

USCIS agent said that since my employer has applied for visa on my behalf, they can't give me this information!
USCIS agent had no information as on when those documents were sent, they only have "date of approval" on their records!
