Chennai or Hyderabad Consulate?

I have a question on which consulate general to choose in India, Chennai or Hyderabad to go for F1 stamping for my spouse and H1B stamping for me. I am from Bangalore. Would really appreciate any suggestion this regards.

Since I am from Bangalore should I have to go only to Chennai Consulate? Any advice is really appreciated.
