Attending H1 at Hyderabad consulate

Can you guys please let me know there is any submission of documents 4 days ahead of interview at Hyderabad consulate...I don't see it anywhere but one of my friend who attended interview last year was telling me about it.

I got interview dates for OFC and main visa interview a day after that..

Can also post recent experience's..if anyone wants to do that.. ..documents,questions etc asked by VO

Is it advisable to change the visa documents to be sent to some home address than the OFC location?

I have seen that people who changed it had some issues getting it delivered in time..
