    H1B Extension delayed

    Hi,
    My H1B extension was filed at Vermont Service Center on June 12,2012. The status on USCIS site still shows at initial review. I am confused as to what should be my next step.
    Does anyone have a similar experience? Any idea what could be causing such a long delay?
    Please advise.
