My interview was in delhi consulate. Still waiting

I see Delhi cases moving pretty fast. Many cases I have seen got approved in not more than 4 weeks. You should be hearing soon. Probably the coming week.

I too rang up DOS today. They told me also the same story that its being processed at the consulate. My case was being processed since may 16th at the consulate. I WANT VISA!

I called Department of state and was told that my case is still under administrative process and consulate is reviewing it. They don't even know how long it will take. Please god help us out..

Getting extremely worried. My family is in US. I think there is no human element consideration when they put you on 221g. I saw the message in us embassy of family unification ..dont know what validity it maintains.

I called DOS non immigrant phone line that start with 202 number-google it. Wait for the message to get over . Do not press any button ..you will automatically be transfer to visa specialist. I called at 8pm Ist. They only work for 11-12 on wednesday. So try tomorrow. I am also plannimg to call again

I have finished 5 weeks of waiting after document submission. No updates since the time of document submission. Anyone in similar situation? Any idea of how long we need to wait? Extremely worried.

I came to india for family emergency and appeared for h2b visa interview on 12th may at new delhi embassy. I am workingkfor big pharmaceutical company for last 6 years. The Vo asked couple of questions like what do you do for the company and what is your education and was then sent to different window where i met an indian guy who gave me white 221g slip. I submitted my response on 15th night and just spoke with DoS. My documents were recieved or logged intonthe system on 16th which makes.me 3weeks in the waiting. Things get somewhat complicated when my company asked me to travel internationally for which I have requested my passport back. I was told that processing wont be affected in case I request or withdraw my passport. This is my 3rd h1b stamping. First was in delhi ..waited for 2 weeks ,second was in canada ..got visa right there and 3rd again in delhi. Unfortunately my h1b visa will expire in early nov. Company was preparing for h1b extension but had to travel. Family is in us. Dont know how much time it will take??

When was your visa interview and when did you submit your documents? I am scared by reading few forums which say that processing may take several months. I just hope it shouldn't take more than 60 days as they say majority of the cases get cleared in 60 days.

My interview was on May 22nd and I submitted documents on May 29th.

No updates at all in my case since may 14th. Any one got updated?

I was asked to submit resume, publications/research papers, latest academic results, invitation letter from the university. I submitted them on email on 14th may itself. No updates since then. But I see many H4 visas from mid may to end may getting approvals since last week. Mine is J1 visa.

Even I was asked same stuff in the email. Mine in H1B visa. Dont know how long it will take to approve.
