H4 visa stamping without H1 stamped on passport

Hi,

I came US on L1 visa and my spouse came on L2. After that i had my H1b filed and i got it approved and my spouse went back to india. Now i am working on my new H1b visa but i dont have it stamped on my passport. Are there any chances of h4 stamping rejection from india if we plan it next year around march2013? How many H1 paystubs will be required for H4 stamping?

Though rare there have been cases wherein the H4 was put in Admin processing. As long as your paperwork is right and you have been maintaining valid H1 status your spouse should get H4.

Is my H1B ammendment required for my spuse H4 stamping at delhi consulate

Hi,

We got a H4 stamping date for my spouse in Feb'13 end and i am not sure if he would require my H1B ammendment or not because my H1B is for a different client and i am currently working for some other client. Please let me know ASAP.

Though you dont need a fresh Visa stamping, but you sure need the latest petition, didnt your employer file for an LCA/amendment to H1 petition when you changed your client/location?

My employer has filed a new LCA for the new client. But have not filed the H1B amendment. Do i need H1B amendment for new client as well for my spouse H4 stamping in india. I am currently in us only.
