Trip to india with Renewed Passport

Hi,

My passport is expiring in May 2013. As i know i have a personal trip to india in January, i applied and obtained the renewed passport.

Please let me know if i have to take any considerations or do any pre-requisite before travelling with my new passport? All i am aware of is to carry both old and new passport with me during the travel.

Please help me in this regard. I am travelling out of US on Jan 11th 2013.

Yes. Pretty much thats all you have to do, alogn with the usual immigration documents carry both the passports together.
