  • Aborted job transition - Help on H1/H4 transfer mess

I accepted my current employer's (company A) retention offer 10 days after new employer (company B) had filed H1/H4 transfer applications to CIS. While I was researching a way to withdraw applications, I found that both new H1 and H4 has been approved today (somehow company B used premium processing and CIS has been amazingly efficient in 2013). My questions:

    * As I'm NOT going to work for B, do I need to worry about the new H1? I think my current H1 with A should continue be valid. I should just let B withdraw the other one. Am I right?
    * How do I handle my wife's new H4? Is H4 associated with a particular company? Should I file I-539 again to transfer it back?

Some detail information might relates to discussion:
    * The start date on the new H1 is still two weeks away.
    * We are also both in AOS and have EAD/AP. Our EADs expire in two months.
    * The requested new expiry date on the new H4 is about one year after my current H1's expiry date.
