Hi Seniors/Experts...
I held H1 from 1st Oct 2007 to 31st Aug 2010 through Company X. I never happened to travel using my H1, though I did travel with B1 for Company Y, during this period.
My Petition (I129) notice date is from May 31 2007.
Now I want to Invoke my H1 status again. Following are my questions...
1. Can I use my existing petition to apply under Cap exempt (notice date is from May 31 2007).
2. If yes, then by when do I need to apply for H1 again, as the 6 year period ends by May 2013.
3. Can I apply through Company Y.
4. What will the validity period of new H1 status.
Will highly appreciate any response. Thanks in advance.
