Hi,
My husband's H1b expires this Nov 2005 and he's yet to apply for an extension.My brother is getting married this Dec 2005 and we want to go to India during that time.When I tried to book the web appt, I was asked for Petition receipt no:.Can anyone explain me whats this number and from where I can get this.Also I found that I could get the appt dates only in Jan 06(as of now).Please advice me how to proceed in this regard.My husband can get 15 days leave at the most from his employer.
Also please tell how long will it take to get my husband's visa extension and mine(am on H4) and daughter was born here in the US.
