221g admistrative processing for my wife (H4)
Hi I live in USA on h1b . I am a divorcee. My wife recently went for H4 visa stamping but didn't get visa as US consulate asked additional document from her - divorce settlement papers. Although we produced the marriage certificate and marriage photos, they asked for divorce settlement documents.
She was asked only to email the document and nothing else.
Does any of you god forbid encountered such situation and do you have any idea how much time it would take after providing the documents.
Any suggestion and information will be appreciated.
