Indian Citizens Marriage and Registration in US

Hi,

I am an Indian Citizen currently residing in the US on H1B. My fiancee is also an Indian Citizen on H1B. We want to get married here and get our marriage registered. Can you tell me the proper procedure by which Indians should marry in the US so that the marriage is valid in India and the US, and we can get the marriage registration certificate.
Should we need to marry in the Indian Consulate or we can do Civil Marriage in any County?

My friends in US got married on F1 visa. They did it in the local county court and got a certificate few days later. The certificate is a official one and of course valid across the globe. Check the county website for details (dates, req forms, witness etc)
