Hello,
I am a graduating student and will be getting my degree in May. However, I am also working for a technology company on a CPT and they would sponsor my visa. The dilemma I am faced with here is that I want them to apply for my visa in April as soon as the window opens (just to be on the safe side and be sure my application gets in) but in April I would not have my degree. Is it Ok if my employer submits the application along with the letter from my university confirming I will be getting the actual certificate in May and then when I do get my certificate in May, I will send the copy to them? Or should I wait to get my certificate then apply?
