H1B Restamping
I will be getting married in May 2013 and planning to get my wife to US on H4 visa. I have my visa stamped with Company A earlier which is valid till Sep 2014 , can I also schedule my H1B visa restamping for my current Company B along with my fiancé when she schedules H4 visa. (So that we can give interview as family)
I did some research online and people say its not necessary to get my H1B restamped as my I-797 is valid till 2014 but was wondering, it would be good to accompany my fiancé for the interview in case she gets stuck with certain questions . Also, chances of rejection on her H4 will be less if I accompany her for interview. So, is it ok if I schedule interview for H1B re-stamping ?
