Question on H1-B stamping

Hello,

I came to US on F1 and am now on OPT. My H1 is being filed. My student visa expires on July 2006. In this case, can I go get my stamping done in Canada/Mexico or is it necessary to go to India to get it stamped, as I need my visa extended too?

people from countries with a predominantly muslim population can't do it.
otherwise, I think you can get your H1B stamp in Canaduh or Mexico.
