Hi, I have H1 valid for next 3 yrs. I am planning to travel to India in May. I will need to get my visa renewed . My wife is currently on H4 is traveling with me in may. We are expecting a visa change to H1 for her.
Now the question I have is , should I book my visa interview and not apply for my wife's renewal at this time. And apply for her renewal after we get answers whether or not she will get new visa.

You can do it either way. It all depends upon timings of all the events.
