  • Passport Reissue after H1B Filing

    Hi,
    My company has initiated my H1 but i am having some issue with my passport. My Passport is damaged and i wand it to be reissued also i want existing details in the passport to be changes i.e. Address and Spouse name to be added.


    I want to know when can i apply for passport reissue? Can i Apply for Reissue of passport after my petion is filed or after my petion approval.

          Hi,
          I am also in the same situation. Are you able to re-issue your passport after your petition is filed? How did you proceed?

            I had got the passport re-issued before my stamping process and i guess you can go ahead with the passport re-issue.You will get a new passport with the old passport details mentioned in it.
