Hi,
I am a H1b holder. Recently, one of my friends and I want to start a new company using our free time. I still need to work for my current employer. My friend is a US citizen.
I have searched the internet and found that I do can open such a company but I cannot "work" for it. But what does "work" mean here? Suppose we open a LLC and I hold 50% shares but doesn't get paid from the new company, is this legal?
